ReplyDeleteI for 1 as a teacher believe that if you want to plant something in the learners brains it should be at an early age where their brains are still fresh and doesnt think alot, teachering them to count at an early age will help them to be able to live in a mathematical enviroment. When children are counting, they perform a more cognitive activity which they're associating a one to one correspondence with the object and the number to represent a quantity.
